Vitamin Sea Beach Retreat is a family-owned vacation rental in Encinitas, California. This website is operated by Amber Robertson on behalf of the property. If you have questions about anything in this policy, email us through the contact page.

What information we collect

The only personal information we actively collect is what you choose to share through the contact form: your name, email address, optional travel dates, optional party size, and your message. We use that information solely to reply to you about your inquiry.

Like every website, our hosting provider's server logs record basic technical information when you visit — your IP address, browser type, and the pages you viewed. We don't actively review these logs except to investigate technical issues, and they're retained for a limited time per our host's retention policy.

How we use what we collect

We use the information you send us through the contact form to:

• Reply to your inquiry about the property
• Send you booking-related information if you ask for it
• Keep a record of past inquiries so we can serve repeat guests better

We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or promotional communications. We do not share your information with any third party for marketing purposes.

Third-party services we use

This website relies on a few third-party services to function. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Formspree — receives and forwards contact form submissions. Their privacy policy: formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy
• Google Fonts — serves the typography used on the site. Google's font service does not set cookies but does receive your IP address as part of normal HTTP requests.
• Booking platform — when you click "Book Now," you're redirected to our booking platform at book.vitaminseabeachretreat.com, which has its own terms and privacy policy.
• Airbnb and Peerspace — clicking these links takes you to those platforms, which collect their own information per their respective privacy policies.

Cookies and tracking

This website doesn't set marketing or tracking cookies. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other behavioral tracking tools. If we ever add a privacy-friendly analytics tool in the future, we'll update this policy and let visitors know.

How long we keep your information

Contact form submissions are kept in our email inbox until we no longer need them — typically a few months to a couple of years, depending on whether the conversation leads to a booking. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Ask what information we have about you
• Ask us to correct anything that's inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your information from our records
• Opt out of any future communications (we don't currently send any)
