The house sits in Leucadia, the quieter, more surf-shop-and-fish-taco end of Encinitas. Stonesteps Beach is four minutes on foot. Pannikin Coffee, two. Beacon’s Beach and the surf shops along the 101 are a few minutes further.
Downtown Encinitas is a short e-bike ride south. Cardiff, Solana Beach, and Del Mar are all under fifteen minutes by car. Legoland, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and Disneyland are easy day trips for the kids.
